Written by Ali Viterbi and directed by Theater J Artistic Director Hayley Finn, this staged reading is a new play presented as part of Theater J's Festival of Favorites and Firsts. The play weaves together four storylines across different eras — 1870, 1939, 1984, and 2055 — exploring the dying language of Ladino, the families who spoke it, and questions of identity and loss. It is one of two new works by young Jewish playwrights featured in the festival.
