Tropical Secrets, adapted by LM Feldman from Margarita Engle's poetic novel, follows Daniel, a young Jewish refugee fleeing Nazi Germany who arrives in Havana and forms a friendship with a Cuban girl named Paloma. Recommended for ages 8 and up, the story explores themes of resilience and the capacity of young people to make a difference in the world. The production runs at Theater J, located in the Edlavitch DCJCC's Aaron & Cecile Goldman Theater.
