Written by Kendall Pinkney and directed by Mosaic Theater Company of DC Artistic Director Reginald L. Douglas, this staged reading is a new play presented as part of Theater J's Festival of Favorites and Firsts. The play centers on the Shapiro-Rosenblatt-Cunningham clan gathered in White Plains, New York for Passover, where the return of estranged daughter Skye with an unexpected guest forces the family to confront long-simmering grievances around race, politics, religion, and generational grudges. It is one of two new works by young Jewish playwrights featured in the festival.
