Three separate time periods collide in a small hotel room in Korea. Mediated by a shape-shifting Jesus who first shows up as a bellboy. Three characters have to come to terms with their stories.Ana is a Korean American who travels to Seoul in 1975 to retrieve her recently deceased fathers ashes. Luke is a young American soldier fighting in the jungles of Burma in 1944. Number Four is the name of a Korean comfort woman camping out on a bridge in Seoul in 1950, waiting for the return of the young American soldier who fathered her daughter.

Washington Stage Guild to Present MEMOIRS OF A FORGOTTEN MAN
April 18, 2022 The Washington Stage Guild will conclude its 2021-2022 season with Memoirs of a Forgotten Man by D.W. Gregory. The play, which had its world premiere at The Contemporary American Theatre Festival in 2018, takes place in the Stalinist Soviet Union, where a man’s inability to forget those whom the government has “erased” becomes increasingly problematic for him and his family.About the Theatre
