Elgar: The Dream of Gerontius at Winchester Cathedral

The Waynflete Singers are joined by the English Chamber Orchestra and Winchester Cathedral Chamber Choir for Elgar’s Dream of Gerontius.
Featuring the English Chamber Orchestra, double choir, chamber choir and world-class soloists. A work of profound spiritual depth and emotional intensity, The Dream of Gerontius promises to be an unforgettable musical experience.
With Dame Sarah Connolly making her debut appearance in Winchester Cathedral, this is bound to be an extremely popular concert. Andrew Lumsden, musical director of the Waynflete Singers will conduct the proceedings.
