World Stage Theatre Company presents Half Time, a musical that follows the inspiring true story of ten seniors who aspire to dance at halftime for a professional basketball team. Featuring a book by Bob Martin and Chad Beguelin, music by Matthew Sklar, and lyrics by Nell Benjamin, this production highlights the joy and determination of individuals over 60 as they embark on a journey of self-discovery through hip-hop dance. Directed by Kelli McLoud-Schingen, the show runs from June 6-15, 2025, at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, showcasing local talent and raising themes of mentorship, friendship, and overcoming stereotypes.
