SwordPlay: A Play of Swords is a swashbuckling adventure comedy from acclaimed troupe Sex T-Rex, serving as the feature lead production of the 2026 Barrie Theatre Festival. The show is a parody of classic sword-fighting tales and retro fantasy, drawing inspiration from works like The Princess Bride, The Three Musketeers, and Game of Thrones. Fresh off multiple award-winning festival runs across Canada, including the Just For Laughs Best Comedy Award at the Montreal Fringe Festival and Pick of the Vancouver Fringe, SwordPlay runs June 4–13 at The Five Points Theatre in Barrie.
