MOMME DOMME at Alumnae Theatre Mainspace

MOMME DOMME is a sharp, seductive ensemble show about four women who arrive at a gallery expecting a mistressclass in dominance, and find themselves inside the artwork instead. The show weaves sonic intervention, ritual and voyeurism into an embodied surrender to the matriarchy, interrogating complicity, artistic consumption and the commodification of the feminine body. Created and performed by Blemme Fatale, with performers Kimmie Croscup, Micah Jondel DeShazer, Elena Baptiste, Barbara Indriliunas Snow, Niema Hajjami, Amethyst, Chyna, and Priscilla Dhaussy. The work contains themes of sexual violence, coercive control, surveillance, and institutional abuse, and is intended for adult audiences.
