COMPOSERS IN PLAY XV: Ink from the Shield at TD Music Hall

Pianists Anthony de Mare and Adam Sherkin join forces for this (nearly) all-Canadian program. In sets for both one and two keyboards, music from our continent's north is highlighted in fresh relief, featuring works by Vivian Fung, Ann Southam, Heather Schmidt, Linda Catlin Smith, Rodney Sharman, Adam Sherkin and Jared Miller, plus a newly-commissioned world premiere from Andrew Staniland. Also on the program: virtuoso contributions from American composers Kevin Puts, Steve Reich and Conrad Tao. We welcome several of these composers to Toronto. Tickets are on sale at the Massey Hall box office: General admission is $45; Arts Workers and Seniors are $40 and students attend for $20, with a valid I.D.  Full bar and refreshments are available throughout the performance.
