GRAMMY Award-winning New Orleans-based The Dirty Dozen Brass Band performs at TD Music Hall in Toronto. Celebrating over 45 years since their founding in 1977, the band blends traditional brass band music with bebop jazz, funk, and R&B/soul into what they describe as a 'musical gumbo.' The group has toured across five continents and more than thirty countries, recorded twelve studio albums, and collaborated with artists ranging from Modest Mouse to Norah Jones. The band features Roger Lewis on baritone sax, Gregory Davis on trumpet, Kirk Joseph on sousaphone, Trevarri Huff-Boone on tenor sax, Stephen Walker on trombone, Julian Addison on drums, and Takeshi Shimmura on guitar.
