Artificially Intelligent 2.0 at The Alumnae Theatre

Artificially Intelligent 2.0 is a musical comedy special created and performed by Greek/Canadian comedian Anesti Danelis, in which he outsources the writing of his comedy special to ChatGPT with disastrous results. As Anesti feeds AI his stories about growing up in a loud traditional Greek family, navigating queerness, and feeling pulled between two cultures as a first-generation Canadian, the show explores who we are in the age of algorithms and whether AI can truly replicate human experience. Using songs, jokes, and video, Danelis debates the merits of AI creativity and our reliance on algorithms, with original songs including Hook Up Murder, Straight Pride, and Grandpa on Grindr. The show is co-directed by Alia Rasul and produced by Anastasios Kounakis.
