World renowned South African political cabaret artist and OBIE Award winner Pieter-Dirk Uys returns to NYC with his latest attack on political outrage, 'Elections or Erections: a chronicle of Fear and Fun'. On Monday, March 31, 2008, Broadway belter Sherie Rene Scott, currently starring as the notorious eight-armed sea-witch Ursula in Disney's 'The Little Mermaid,' will concoct an experiment in truth-telling in her new and original one-woman show 'You May Now Worship Me.' The one-night-only concert at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative.

Today's the day the Teddy Bears had their picnic! And they brought along all their Broadway-loving friends for another successful and entertaining Broadway Bears auction, presented by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS! To the thrill of bear and fan-boy alike, the 11th Annual event raised over $127,000! Top winners were 'Cyrano de Bergerac,' 'The Lion King' and 'Spamalot.'

Broadway's cuddliest friends kick off a new year with the 11th annual 'Broadway Bears' auction this Sunday, February 17 at 7PM at the B.B. These specially-designed bears (often using actual material from their respective Broadway productions, and autographed by the stars) raised $130,000 last year. BC/EFA hopes to reach even higher this winter!
