J. Keith van Straaten (Comedy Central's 'Beat The Geeks' and VH1's 'Best Week Ever') hosts a panel of noted personalities along with weekly surprise celebrity 'Mystery Guest.' Past Mystery Guests have included Larry King, Drew Carey, and Shirley Jones. Departing from the 30-minute format of the original television series, the 75-minute stage version will also feature live music and performances. The residents of AVENUE Q will appear on Food Network's popular television program ACE OF CAKES on the March 27, 2008 episode at 10:30 PM ET. While at Baltimore's Hippodrome Theatre, the cast and crew of Ace of Cakes and the cast and crew of the touring production of AVENUE Q filmed an episode of Ace of Cakes during which Chef Duff Goldman unveiled a customized AVENUE Q cake that depicts the Tony Award-winning musical's characters. To see the AVENUE Q cake tune into Food Network on Thursday, March 27 at 10:30 PM EST! (The national tour of AVENUE Q will be playing at the Fox Theater in Atlanta on March 27.) Ace of Cakes, a primetime series airing on Food Network, chronicles the misadventures of Chef Duff Goldman. Goldman is a master cake decorator, rock musician, power tool aficionado and owner of Charm City Cakes. He has created everything from a three-foot buttercream sculpture of Elvis to a massive edible replica of Wrigley Field. LA Drama Critics Awards Held on 3/17
