Don Was and the Pan-Detroit Ensemble will perform at the Nancy and David Bilheimer Capitol Theatre on February 12. Led by six-time GRAMMY® winner Don Was, the ensemble showcases the vibrant musical heritage of Detroit through a mix of jazz, blues, and funk. The concert will feature selections from their new album, Groove in the Face of Adversity, and a live rendition of The Grateful Dead’s Blues for Allah to commemorate its 50th anniversary. The lineup includes talented musicians such as saxophonist Dave McMurray and keyboardist Luis Resto, known for their contributions to the rich tapestry of Detroit's music scene.
