Carisa Hendrix brings her 1940s-style socialite character Lucy Darling to Ruth Eckerd Hall on June 9 with her Las Vegas-style touring show, Lucy Darling in VIVA. The show features Hendrix's improvisational crowd work, sharp wit, magic, and old-Hollywood glamour, blending sarcasm and sweetness in a variety show format. Joining her on piano is Sarah Hester Ross, a vocalist and singer-songwriter whose chemistry with Hendrix adds to the production's lively energy.
