Formed in 1991 by lead vocalist and guitarist Jeff Pike with Scott Nickerson, founder of the first Jimmy Buffett Parrot Head Club, A1A is recognized as the official and original Jimmy Buffett tribute show. The band won a Jimmy Buffett Sound Alike Contest in 1992 and was granted permission by Jimmy Buffett's team to use the official title. Through 35 years of performing, A1A has played alongside members of the Coral Reefer Band and remains the foremost Jimmy Buffett tribute act.
