Mel Brooks’ side splitting Broadway musical comedy premieres at the Sutherland Entertainment Centre this September with Miranda Musical Society.

When washed up Broadway producer Max Bialystock, the once self proclaimed King of Broadway, meets mild mannered Leo Bloom, an accountant prone to the occasional panic attack, they hatch a scheme to become The Producers and swindle every little old lady in New York out of two-million dollars! As Leo reveals, with some creative accounting “under the right circumstances, a producer could make more money with a flop than with a hit!”.

It’s simple! Leo and Max need to find the most offensive play ever written, hire the worst director in town, raise two-million dollars, open on Broadway with the worst actors New York has ever seen, close on broadway and take their undisclosed profits to Rio! Unfortunately for them, things don’t go exactly to plan.

Miranda Musical Society is proud to present Mel Brooks’ 12 time Tony Award winning Broadway smash hit. The Producers is a hilarious "equal opportunity offender" that’ll leave you speechless and rolling in the aisles!
