The Theatre Arts Program leads to a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (B.F.A.), and is designed for students interested in a performing arts career as an actor, director, designer, stage manager, lighting, sound or video technician in theatre and music theatre. In addition, the College offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (B.F.A.) in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Musical Theatre. Our theatrical performances and academic programs combine drama study and theatre training in a comprehensive curriculum.

The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, located at Lincoln Center, has just announced a new exhibition highlighting the history of Black musical theater. The exhibition, Syncopated Stages: Black Disruptions to the Great White Way celebrates the rich history and enduring impact of Black artists in musical theater through hundreds of items from the Library’s Billy Rose Theatre Division archives.
