The 2012-2013 Season may still be going strong, but the spotlight shifts to the first official announcement of the 2013-2014 Season by Asolo's own Michael Donald Edwards, Producing Artistic Director for Asolo Rep, and Greg Leaming, Associate Producing Artistic Director for Asolo Rep and Director of the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training.

Join the theatre as it previews the upcoming season-the second year of Asolo Rep's American Character Project-and get a first-hand explanation of the vision behind the selection of plays from the artistic leaders of the theatre themselves. As Asolo Rep prepares to enter its 55th year as Florida's premiere professional theatre, eager arts lovers will fill the house to be the first in Sarasota to learn of the offerings. The event also marks the last chance for early subscribers to take advantage of already lower subscription prices if they renew before the shows are announced to the public.

The preview is set for Monday, March 18, 2013. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. Presentation runs 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. Reception with light refreshments in the lobby will follow. It all takes place in Asolo Repertory Theatre's Mertz Theatre, 5555 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, Fla. (on the grounds of the Ringling Museum of Art located adjacent to the museum entrance)

The event is free and open to the public. Seating is on a first come, first seated basis.
