The 2026 ST. LOUIS THEATER CIRCLE AWARD NOMINATIONS ANNOUNCED - The Rep Leads All Companies with 38 Nods
February 03, 2026 The St. Louis Theatre Circle has announced their nominations for their annual awards to be distributed on March 23, 2026, at the Loretto-Hilton Center. 172 theatre artists have been nominated in 34 categories honoring the best in St. Louis Theater in 2025. The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis leads all companies with a record-breaking 38 nominations for their productions of Athena, Clyde’s, Emma, Ken Ludwig’s Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood, The Brothers Size, and The Cottage. Emma is the most nominated comedy of the season with 11 nominations.

October 18, 2025 Albion Theatre consistently produces polished and well rehearsed plays. I Have Been There Before is no exception. It is extremely well directed, acted, designed, and stage managed. Priestly’s script has never connected with an audience to enjoy a lengthy theatrical run, but the Albion production is entertaining, with the second and third acts moving much more briskly than the first.

October 03, 2025 The Midnight Company’s production of St. Nicholas is built for fans of vampire stories. The story of obsession leads a man to walk down a dark path with irreversible consequence. The script and Hanrahan’s delivery never quite reach a level of creepy macabre, but it is a fascinating story that’s suited to the Halloween season. August 29, 2024 Albion Theatre has announced their 2025 season. Their upcoming season will include plays by Martin Mc Donagh, Laura Wade, and J.B. Priestley. The season opens with McDonagh’s THE BEAUTY QUEEN OF LEENANE from March 14 – 30, 2025. It continues with a production of Wade’s COLDER THAN HERE from June 13 – 29, 2025. The season closes with Priestley’s I HAVE BEEN HERE BEFORE, running October 17 – November 2, 2024. All of Albion’s plays are staged at the Kranzberg Arts Center Black Box Theater, 501 N. Grand Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63103.About the Theatre
