Swingtime at Adam Small Theatre

Swingtime is a vibrant celebration of the golden age of the Big Band era, choreographed by Sean Bovim and performed by Cape Town City Ballet. The production transports audiences to the legendary Swing Club, where the charismatic owner Mr Bojangles revisits the characters and moments that defined the venue. The show features exhilarating solos, captivating duets, elegant pas de deux and dynamic ensemble numbers set to the infectious rhythms of the swing era, with dancers including Sasha Barnes, Luke Wragg, and Gil Zuntini. Established in 1934, Cape Town City Ballet is South Africa's oldest professional ballet company, known for presenting both classical repertoire and innovative contemporary productions.
