The annual #MandelaMosaic at Canal Walk Shopping Centre to help shape a legacy. Celebrating former President Nelson Mandela’s centenary and taking action against poverty, the annual globally celebrated Mandela Day will focus on what is needed to ‘be the legacy’ this year. For Canal Walk Shopping Centre, building the right kind of legacy, means having the right foundation, a sound education. Helping to shape the future of South Africa is the Leap Science and Maths Schools (LEAP) that will again be the beneficiaries of this year’s Canal Walk Shopping Centre #MandelaMosaic event on Wednesday 18th July 2018.
In addition to providing the resources at the shopping centre and organising the annual #MandelaMosaic event, CWSC will also be sweetening the pot with some of the proceeds from its annual school holiday theatre production - this year, Alice in Wonderland. Theatre goers are also invited to bring a can of Rhodes Quality to the show, as all donated cans will be sent to the various LEAP Schools.
