Fugard Studio Theatre Presents SAME TIME NEXT YEAR, 6/17-28

The KBT Productions presentation of Bernard Slade's Tony-award-winning play, SAME TIME NEXT YEAR, directed by Fleur du Cap Lifetime Achievement Award winner Christopher Weare, will be performed at the Fugard Studio Theatre from 17 to 28 June 2014. Featuring Paul Du Toit and Julie Hartley, the production received rave reviews when it opened last year at the Kalk Bay Theatre and won a Standard Bank Ovation Award at last year's National Arts Festival in Grahamstown.

THE SHADOW OF THE HUMMINGBIRD to Run 10-26 July at Fugard Theatre

Eric Abraham and the Fugard Theatre present the South African premiere of THE SHADOW OF THE HUMMINGBIRD, written by Athol Fugard, with an introductory scene by Paula Fourie. Fugard will co-direct the production with Fourie, and will also star in the production, returning to the stage after an absence of 15 years.
Junkets Publishers Heading to National Arts Festival

Junkets Publishers is heading off to the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown this year, where the company will see a further launch of its groundbreaking NOW I AM ALONE compliations as part of the Think Fest and exhibiting books from its The Playscript Series, The Collected Series, The New Voices Series, BaxterJunkets and GayJunkets imprints at the Word Fest. Three Junkets plays are also being staged at the Festival and Junkets will also have a presence at the Schools Festival.

Willy Russell's iconic musical BLOOD BROTHERS, which has been adapted and directed by David Kramer and has wowed South Africa since it first opened in Cape Town last year, will celebrate its 150th performance on Thursday 1 May 2014.
