During Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month (AAPIHM), Disney on Broadway is putting the spotlight on the Asian American and Pacific Islander cast members of its hit musicals THE LION KING, ALADDIN, and FROZEN.

Red Bull Theater begins performances tonight Tuesday March 19th for John Webster's The White Devil at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street between Bleecker & Hudson Streets). Opening Night is set for March 31st. The limited Off-Broadway engagement will continue through April 14th.

The fantastical world of Dr. Seuss bursts onto the stage in this larger-than-life musical extravaganza from award-nominated Immersion Theatre, brimming with fun and excitement for 'thinkers' of all ages.  Set to an electric score and co-conceived by Monty Python's Eric Idle, this raucous and ultimately touching story by Tony Award winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty is a feel-good musical bonanza which dares us to think big and reminds us of the power of loyalty, family, and acceptance.  After all, a person's a person no matter how small!

The Jungle Book adapted by April-Dawn Gladu, produced by Orlando Shakes in partnership with UCF, appears in the Margeson Theater from October 18 - November 16, 2018. The Other Day stars TV's David Dean Bottrell ('Modern Family,' 'The Blacklist,' 'Boston Legal') and Sandro Isaack (Amazon's 'Mozart in the Jungle')  with Elizabeth Inghram (AMC's 'Dietland,' Girl Most Likely) and John Gazzale (NY: All My Sons, Our Country's Good).

DISNEY'S THE LION KING JR. opens at Artisan Center Theater on Friday, August 10, 2018 and runs through Saturday, August 18, 2018. The 148 seat Second Stage facility is located at 444 East Pipeline Road in Hurst. Performances are at 7:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with additional 3:30pm matinees on Saturdays. Berkshire Theatre Group, celebrating its 90th milestone season, presents the musical Tarzan with book by David Henry Hwang, and music & lyrics by Phil Collins, based on the story "Tarzan of the Apes" by Edgar Rice Burroughs and the Disney film, Tarzan.

Drury Lane Theatre for Young Audiences presents Seussical, an unforgettable musical caper from Tony-winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Once on This Island, Ragtime) featuring the beloved characters of Dr. Seuss. This production is directed by Scott Calcagno with choreography by Ericka Mac and music direction by Ellen Morris. Seussical runs April 18 - June 9, 2018, at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace.

Irina Dvorovenko ('The Americans'), a former American Ballet Theatre principal dancer, Tony Award nominees Tony Yazbeck (ON THE TOWN, FINDING NEVERLAND) and Peter Friedman (RAGTIME, The Vineyard's THE SLUG BEARERS OF KAYROL ISLAND...), and Teagle F. Bourgere (THE CRUCIBLE, A RAISIN IN THE SUN) will be featured in the world premiere of The Beast in the Jungle, an original work fusing dance, drama and music by legendary composer and four-time Tony Award winner John Kander (CABARET, CHICAGO), Tony Award nominee playwright David Thompson (STEEL PIER; FLORA, THE RED MENACE), and five-time Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Susan Stroman (THE PRODUCERS, CONTACT).

Follow the adventures of two brothers and the night-time disappearance of a chocolate cake in this scrumptious new musical adaptation by the creators of We're Going on a Bear Hunt and How to Hide a Lion from Michael Rosen's beloved poem Chocolate Cake, which has just been published as a picture book.

Hell in a Handbag Productions is pleased to announce its 2018 season, kicking off this spring with a revival of its 2013 hit L'IMITATION OF LIFE, a dead on parody of the 1959 film Imitation of Life about race, mothers and daughters - and looking fabulous! Adapted by Ricky Graham and Running with Scissors and directed by ensemble member Stevie Love, ensemble member Ed Jones and Robert Williams reprise their roles as Lana Turner and Annie Johnson.

Immersion Theatre announces full casting for their high energy, larger-than-life adaptation of The Jungle Book. Rachael Stratton will lead the company in the role of Mowgli having previously played Dorothy for Immersion Theatre in their 2016 summer tour of The Wizard of Oz. A seasoned family theatre performer, previous credits include Izzy in the UK tour and West End run of Rainbow Magic Live, Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, The Little Prince, and Alice in Alice in Wonderland.
