Idle Muse Theatre Company proudly announces the cast and crew for the world premiere of Girl Found, written by Barbara Lhota and directed by Alison Dornheggen, now playing through June 10, at The Edge Theater, 5451 N. Broadway St. Performances run Thursdays - Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m.

The MainStreet Theatre Company has announced the cast for the first show of its 2012/2013 season: Pinkalicious the Musical. The musical, based on the best selling book for the younger set, is also written by book authors Elizabeth Kann & Victoria Kann, with Music by John Gregor. The story, about a little girl who eats too many cupcakes and turns pink, has been delighting youngsters since its publication in 2006, and the musical celebrates everything pink while reminding kids that sometimes too much of a good thing is... too much!. Pinkalicious, recommended for ages 5 and up, opens today, October 6th, and runs through the 21st, 2012. Get a first look at the production in the photos below!

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Interim Executive Director Joey Parnes) will begin previews for KING LEAR, directed by James Macdonald, on Tuesday, October 18. KING LEAR will run through Sunday, November 20 in The Public's Newman Theater with an official press opening on Tuesday, November 8.

Girl Crazy, the first Encores! production of the New York City Center season, will star Ana Gasteyer, Wayne Knight and Marc Kudisch and will run November 19 - 22. Girl Crazy, directed by Jerry Zaks and choreographed by Warren Carlyle with Guest Music Director Rob Fisher, has music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin and book by Guy Bolton and Jack McGowan.

9 To 5: The Musical star Stephanie J. Block is set to release her debut CD, 'This Place I Know' on Tuesday, June 2nd on the PS Classics label. The CD is now available on iTunes beginning today May 12th. Stephanie J. Block performed at a special Good Housekeeping Mother's Day lunch on Friday, May 8th, and BroadwayWorld.com was there to celebrate the festive afternoon.

'The Nanny' star Fran Drescher, who appeared last year Off-Broadway in Neil LaBute's Some Girl(s), recently visited backstage at the hit Broadway musical Mary Poppins.
