The celebrated musical Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella--originally written for television in 1957 by the legendary musical theatre duo Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II--makes its Broadway debut with this new production, featuring music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and a new book by four-time Tony nominee Douglas Carter Beane, based on the original book by Oscar Hammerstein II. The new Broadway production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA had even more magic on stage than usual last night, January 28, 2012 when the cast hosted a wedding proposal on stage at the Broadway Theatre.

As previously announced, Rodgers & Hammerstein'S CINDERELLA will arrive on Broadway this season with previews set for January 21, 2013 prior to Opening Night on February 21 at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway at 53rd Street). Check out the just-released poster art for the show below!
