American Conservatory Theater's Young Conservatory director Craig Slaight announced casting today for The Exam, commissioned by London's National Theatre and written by renowned British writer and comedian Andy Hamilton. Directed by Amelia Stewart, the production features actors from A.C.T.'s acclaimed Young Conservatory program. The Exam plays August 15-22 at A.C.T.'s newest performance space, the Garret Room, located on the fifth floor of the American Conservatory Theater. A contemporary love story, green eyes tracks the rise and fall of a relationship over time through folk-rock music and modern dance. The new musical utilizes two singers, two dancers, and a five-piece orchestra to fuse both song and dance, shedding new light on the traditional 'boy meets girl' story.

This fall, Tony Award nominated actor Keith Carradine (The Will Rogers Follies, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, 'Nashville,' 'Dexter') returns to the New York stage in the New York premiere of Anthony Horowitz's acclaimed thriller, MINDGAME. Ken Russell, the celebrated director of the films Tommy, Woman In Love and The Boyfriend, makes his New York stage directorial debut with MINDGAME.

The Harder They Come will close September 13th at the West End's Playhouse Theatre. It was originally set to close November 1st.

The producers of the international Next Stage Theatre Company announced Monday their plans to have an Open Cast Party to celebrate Next Stage's New York City debut.
