Audra McDonald is in the midst of promoting her latest album, 'Go Back Home', and concert tour, which is currently playing in Los Angeles, but she won't be in California for long. According to the LA Times the five-time Tony winner will be heading back to Broadway soon.

In a recent PBS special, Audra McDonald took center stage at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall with 'Audra McDonald In Concert: Go Back Home.' At this special gala concert, the five-time Tony Award winner shined a light on her favorite music, including songs from a wide range of musical theater composers featured on her highly anticipated new recording, Go Back Home (Nonesuch), her first solo album in seven years. An extended version of 'Audra McDonald In Concert: Go Back Home' will air again on PBS stations on August 30 at 9pm and September 1 at 1:30pm. (ET) (check local listings).

Tony Award-winning ensemble member Frank Galati returns to the helm at Steppenwolf Theatre Company with his stage adaptation of The March, Pulitzer Prize-finalist E.L. Doctorow's novel about General William Tecumseh Sherman's Civil War march through Georgia. This marks Galati's Second Stage production of a Doctorow novel, following the highly-acclaimed musical Ragtime (1998). The much-anticipated production features a cast of 26 playing a mix of fictional and historical characters. The March begins previews April 5 (Opening Night is April 15; Press Performances are April 14 at 3pm and April 17 at 7:30pm) and runs through June 10, 2012 in Steppenwolf's Downstairs Theatre (1650 N Halsted St). Mitchell will play the role of Don, a simply guy who is the antithesis of Wilhelmina. It is reported that Mitchell's role may be recurring. The episode will air sometime in March.
