Chicago's The Youngest will release See It Through next week on October 28; thirteen tracks that drift from upbeat Americana to wistful folk to guitar-driven blues without ever moving arms-distance from their pensive through line.

From the very first moment - when principal guest conductor Nathan Fifield raises his baton and the musicians of the Nashville Symphony play the very first notes of Prokofiev's lush score - it becomes apparent that Nashville Ballet's Cinderella is going to be something very special. And so it goes for the next two-and-one-half-hours: All the way to the final tableau in which the lovely young woman (danced with power and grace by the always-superb Kayla Rowser) finds herself upon a swing in an altogether bucolic setting, with the comforting and loving arm of her dashing prince (Judson Veach, handsome and steadfast) gently caressing her.

“What do they say about the best laid plans?” After one listen to the The Youngest's sophomore effort, the band's wary lyric proves an apt bellwether for their generation's growing anxiety. Thirteen unified tracks roar with sonic energy, colored by the crashing nerves of adulthood and cementing the group as one of the most alluring young bands from America's heartland. Chicago's The Youngest will release See It Through on October 28.

In an effort to truly live up to its name, Little Radical Theatrics will be bringing to Westchester a wildly theatrical, moving, and innovative retelling of one of musical theater's most celebrated classics, Lionel Bart's OLIVER. Utilizing the iconic Charles Dickens novel, embracing the darkness and grittiness of his original text, we will begin at the end. With the aid of an ensemble cast, a stark, minimalist set, and the limitless possibilities of imagination, we enter a lonely, condemned cell in Newgate Prison, wherein the 70-year-old Fagin spends his last two hours alive before his execution being haunted by the people and events that led to his inevitable demise. The timeless story of the young orphan boy navigating through the seedy underbelly of London's crime world will be turned on its head. This will also be the first official production of the 2009 London Palladium Version!
