The Phantom of the Opera on Stage Videos - West End

Ahead of the 35th Birthday of The Phantom of the Opera, new show footage has been released! THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA stars double Olivier Award nominee Killian Donnelly as ‘The Phantom’, Lucy St Louis as ‘Christine Daaé’ and Rhys Whitfield as ‘Raoul’.

The worldwide smash musical The Phantom of the Opera recently resumed West End performances at Her Majesty's Theatre, led by stars Killian Donnelly and the musical's first Black Christine Daae, Lucy St. Louis. Watch as the company returns to the stage and delights phans for the first time in over a year.

This weekend, Michael Crawford made a surprise appearance at the Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts' production of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA in Orange County, California. After watching the performance, Crawford appeared on-stage and met with the students to congratulate the cast, orchestra, crew and production team.

The West End's free outdoor extravaganza West End Live 2017 returns this Saturday and Sunday. The Phantom of the Opera stars Ben Forster and Celinde Schoenmaker softly and deftly took the stage, check out the video below!

As reported by BroadwayWorld, the West End production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera recently made history on its 30th anniversary as the first production to broadcast directly to Facebook from a West End stage. On October 18th, fans have the chance to meet original Phantom, Michael Crawford, and see him chat with Neil Sean about his most iconic role, along with past projects and the upcoming The Go Between.

This weekend, the casts of more than 30 West End shows perform for free in Trafalgar Square! WEST END LIVE 2016 takes place today, 18 June (11am-6pm) and tomorrow, 19 June (12pm-6pm). Today, the cast of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA performed 'Masquerade,' as well as the title song, featuring Lisa-Anne Wood as Christine, and Ben Forster, Scott Davies, Peter Lockyer and Jeremy Secomb sharing the role of the Phantom. On the occasion of the amazing 25th Anniversary of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA on Broadway last night, composer Andrew Lloyd Webber (who sadly was unable to travel to New York because of a back procedure) and the show's original ‘Christine' Sarah Brightman sat down together in London this week to reflect on the show's genesis and incredible success. The video was broadcast to the invitation-only audience at New York's Majestic Theatre as part of the on-stage, post-performance presentation marking 25 Years.
