The Philadelphia Orchestra and Music and Artistic Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin have unveiled the 2026–27 season—Nézet-Séguin’s 15th as music and artistic director—full of epic musical events, bold artistic experiences, and new musical journeys.

The iconic rock musical Hair is back in a bold new Brazilian production directed by Charles Möeller and Claudio Botelho. Opening at São Paulo’s BTG Pactual Hall, the show celebrates the spirit of the 1960s counterculture — peace, love, and rebellion — through powerful anthems like Aquarius and Let the Sunshine In. With a cast of 30 led by Rodrigo Simas and Eduardo Borelli, this vibrant staging fuses rock, poetry, and raw emotion to explore freedom, identity, and protest in a turbulent era. Nearly six decades after its debut, Hair still pulses with youthful defiance and idealism, inviting audiences to sing, reflect, and feel the rhythm of a revolution that never truly ended.

Acclaimed theater company A Noise Within has announced six-plays for 2024-25 — a family-friendly modern classic; a play from August Wilson's “American Century Cycle”; a holiday show; a Shakespeare; a new adaptation; and a musical — each of which exhibits “True Grit.”

Aaron Sorkin’s 2018 stage re-imagination of the classic Harper Lee novel “To Kill A Mockingbird” opened Tuesday at the Kansas City Music Hall for a one week run.  It is one of the finest touring companies of any play I’ve been privileged to witness in many years.  “Mockingbird” stars well-known actor Richard Thomas in a stellar turn as the lead character of Atticus Finch.

Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced additional casting for the special Benefit Reading of Noël Coward’s Fallen Angels, directed by Scott Ellis. Check out who will join previously announced Kelli O'Hara and Rose Byrne.

Mint Theater Company will present the on-demand streaming of two archival recordings in honor of Mint's latest production at NY City Center Stage II, the World Premiere of one of its most exciting discoveries ever: Becomes a Woman.

On January 29, the Broadway revival of August Wilson's The Piano Lesson concludes its run at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre, having played 27 previews and 124 regular performances. The production is the highest grossing revival of a play on Broadway and the highest grossing Wilson production on Broadway ever.

Shakespeare in the Squares today announces the full cast for their fifth anniversary production of Shakespeare's The Tempest. Sioned Jones directs Mark Carlisle, Laura Gomez Garcia, Indigo Griffiths, Phyllis Ho, Ellis Kerkhoven, William Shackleton, Wilf Walsworth and Sasha Wilson.

Raven Theatre has announced its 40th Anniversary Season, kicking off this fall with a fresh take on Noël Coward’s iconic 1930 comedy Private Lives, directed by Ian Frank.

The Orange Tree Theatre today announces the full cast for the UK première of Pamela Carter's The Misfortune of the English. Oscar Toeman directs Hubert Burton (Harrison), Vinnie Heaven (Eaton), Eva Magyar (Tour Guide), and Matthew Tennyson (Lyons). The production opens on 28 April, with previews from 25 April, and runs until 28 May, with a livestreamed performance via OT On Screen on 12 May and available to stream on demand from 31 May – 3 June.

Festival Director Daniel Brine has today announced the full programme for Norfolk & Norwich Festival’s 250th anniversary edition. With its origins going as far back as 1772, Norfolk & Norwich Festival is considered to be the oldest single-city arts Festival in the UK. 

Accompanied by a live band and back-up singers, this cutting-edge holographic performance with remastered audio will transport the audience back in time for an unforgettable evening of Roy & Buddy's greatest hits onstage.

Theatre Arlington's 49th season will offer great musicals, family-friendly children's programming, prize-winning dramas, hysterical comedies and the return of a favorite holiday show – all on the brand-new, state-of-the-art Arlington Tomorrow Foundation Theatre stage. Debuting in the newly renovated lobby, Theatre Arlington's Club Series will feature the return of Club Cabaret along with the new Comedy Club and Play Reading Club.

Lantern Theater Company announced today that its world premiere digital production of Me and the Devil, the Lantern's first collaboration with nationally prominent director and playwright Steve H. Broadnax III, will extend its streaming run through Sunday, November 21, 2021, to meet audience demand.

The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center has announced an exciting 2021-22 season of intimate concerts, live and with an in-person audience, in the Rose Studio: New Milestones, Rose Studio Concerts and The Art of the Recital, as well as a new season of its popular lecture series Inside Chamber Music and more.

The LCT SPOTLIGHT SERIES, Lincoln Center Theater’s free program of digital events, will continue on Thursday, April 29 with an audio performance of Bill Gunn’s 1989 play, THE FORBIDDEN CITY.  Directed by Seret Scott, THE FORBIDDEN CITY’s cast of 11 will feature James T. Alfred, Spencer Scott Barros, Derrick Baskin, Kyle Beltran, and more.
