The Broadway League will soon launch KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY, Monday, February 24, 2014 to Sunday, March 2, 2014. KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY is an audience development program created by The Broadway League to make theatre accessible, encourage theatre as a form of family entertainment, and build larger audiences for the future. In the weeks leading up to the festivities, cast members from some of this years' will share their favorite Broadway memories and why they love Broadway! The company of the first North American tour of WICKED will welcome Tim Kazurinsky as the Wizard, Nick Adams as Fiyero and Jenny Florkowski as Nessarose today, February 4 in Pittsburgh, PA.

WICKED will welcome new cast members to the Broadway blockbuster beginning Tuesday, February 25. CHRISTINE DWYER will assume the role of Elphaba, after recently performing the role on National Tour, and JENNI BARBER (The Nance, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) will assume the role of Glinda.

Broadway Basics is recruiting undergraduates for their Stage Management Workshop- a one day intensive on Monday, March 3, 2014 from 10am-3pm for an in-depth day with two Professional Broadway Stage Managers.? Upon attending the workshop, students will learn first-hand about what it takes on put on a Broadway show from pre-production through strike, networking and resume writing, and more! The enrollment deadline is February 21, 2014.

Wicked recently celebrated its 10th Anniversary on Broadway, and for fans that have yet to make it to the Gershwin Theatre, Google has just launched a virtual tour of the space. In the up-close feature, the most observant fans can see the lobby, stage, and even characters from the show hanging around the theatre. Get an exclusive sneak peek behind the curtain of WICKED on Sunday, February 2 at 10 a.m. and Saturday, February 8 at 5 p.m. when Fox 11 airs a 30-minute special on Broadway's biggest blockbuster, which lands at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center for a three-week limited engagement.

The first and only Broadway musical to gross over $3 million in one week, WICKED has broken the previous record, $2,947,142, which it also held (week ending December 30, 2012), and which had earlier been held by Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark, with a gross of $2,941,794 (week ending January 1, 2012).

A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for Wicked, which is returning to the Old National Centre with performances from now through December 1. Two and one-half hours prior to each performance, people who present themselves at the Old National Centre box office will have their names placed in a lottery drum; thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of orchestra seats at $25 each, cash only. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person. Lottery participants must have a valid photo ID when submitting their entry form and, if chosen, when purchasing tickets.
