The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage welcomes the return of the Colburn Orchestra, the flagship ensemble of the Colburn Conservatory of Music, under the baton of renowned conductor Peter Oundjian on Saturday, February 29 at 7:30pm. The classical music stars of tomorrow will perform a stellar program of favorites.

The Just Kidding family performing arts series offers a cheery midwinter mix of exciting kid-centric shows every Saturday in February. The New Jersey Youth Symphony (NJYS) presents a concert focused on women composers featuring five of its ensembles on Sunday, January 26 at 4:00pm at Princeton University's Richardson Auditorium (68 Nassau Street, Princeton). The NJYS Youth Symphony led by Helen H. Underscore Theatre Company will present its 6th annual CHICAGO MUSICAL THEATRE FESTIVAL, created to showcase and support the growing field of musical theatre creators from Chicago and beyond. The 2020 Festival features full productions of eight new musicals, plus two pay-what-you-can staged readings and a showcase of 10-minute musicals. The Festival will be performed simultaneously on two stages from February 3 - 23, 2020 at The Edge Theater: the Broadway (5451 N. Broadway) and the Off Broadway (1133 W. Catalpa Ave.) in Chicago Edgewater neighborhood. Each full production will receive at least five performances during the Festival. Tickets are currently available at www.cmtf.org. The venerated Los Angeles-based Lula Washington Dance Theatre Returns to the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts to celebrate its milestone 40th anniversary with a dynamic and powerful program exploring social and humanitarian issues. Luna Stage's World Premiere production of Mrs. Stern Wanders the Prussian State Library opens this Saturday, October 19, at 8pm. Founder and Academic Director of the Hannah Arendt Center for Politics and Humanities Roger Berkowitz, playwright Jenny Lyn Bader, director Ari Laura Kreith, and assistant director Chris Kuiken will join the audience for post-show conversations during the first two weekends of Mrs. Stern Wanders the Prussian State Library at Luna Stage. A discussion about the graphic novel The Three Escapes of Hannah Arendt: A Tyranny of Truth by Ken Krimstein will also precede one performance.

Ted Sperling, Artistic Director of MasterVoices, announced details of the acclaimed ensemble's 78th season, celebrating the joy of choral singing and the power of the human voice to unite, inspire and connect since 1941. Highlights include three major musical presentations at top venues, including a New York premiere, and the World Premiere of a new work, commissioned by the Company.
