The Roll kicks off at Member Theater New Jersey Repertory Company (October 18-November 18 in Long Branch), followed by Kitchen Dog Theater (April 11-May 5 in Dallas), Milagro (May 2-25 in Portland) and Halcyon Theatre (May 16-June 29 in Chicago).

The Muse Project, in association with The Tank, presents Musings: a collection of Mini Muse presentations at The Flea Theater as a part of their Anchor Partnership. Musings runs from Monday, October 15th - Sunday October, 21st at The Flea's new home at 20 Thomas Street in Tribeca.

The week will culminate in a party on October 19th, the 'Mini Gala' - a wine and cheese event to celebrate the week's presentations; and 'Tea Time,' a one-of-a-kind Muse pilot program, where a veteran stage actress discusses her experiences building her career. Actress Florencia Lozano is set to partake as the Tea Time guest.

Southern Rep Theatre today announced that it has commissioned Louisiana playwright Pamela Davis-Noland to lead a team of artists, neighbors (past & present), and vendors from the historic Bayou Road of New Orleans, to create an interactive, multi-disciplinary play that will premiere next year as part of the theater's 2019-20 season. The announcement of the project, titled BAYOU ROAD: A JOURNEY, A VISION, AND A PLAY, was made live at the re-opening celebration of The Rose Collaborative Campus (formerly the St. Rose de Lima Campus), where Southern Rep is now located permanently at 2541 Bayou Road. At the event, local performance artist Tonya Boyd-Cannon debuted a moving song and monologue from the play in development, which can be viewed here.

Amazon Studios today announced it has signed an overall television deal with visionary and award-winning writer Neil Gaiman. Six hours by boat off the Michigan coast, Isle Royale is the largest island in the world's largest freshwater lake, an isolated stretch of wilderness seemingly forgotten by the 20th century, home to shipwrecks, abandoned mines, and one the country's longest-standing natural research projects observing moose and wolves in the wild.

Marshmello has released an emotional new music video today for his latest single 'Happier,' featuring Bastille. The poignant video, directed by Mercedes Bryce Morgan, captures the heartwarming bond between a young woman (played by Miranda Cosgrove) and her life-long best friend Mello, a golden retriever she receives for her birthday as a little girl. The colorful and complex true story of six-time world champion prizefighter Emile Griffith is told in Man in the Ring, a new play written by Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Cristofer, directed by Michael Greif, and presented by the Huntington Theatre Company from Nov. 16 to Dec. 22, 2018 at the Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts.  Imbued with the warmth of Griffith's character and the joyful music of his childhood home, Man in the Ring chronicles Griffith's sweeping life story, from his humble beginnings in the Virgin Islands to his passionate love affairs and the tragedy that changed his life.

The Case Western Reserve University/Cleveland Play House MFA Acting Program is proud to begin their season with a modern reimagining of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull.
