Victory Gardens Theater continues its 44th season with the Chicago Premiere of Pipeline, written by 2018 MacArthur Fellow Dominique Morisseau and directed by Cheryl Lynn Bruce. Pipeline runs February 1 March 3, 2019, with press performance on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 7:30pm at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue.

Performance dates and a change in venue are in order for the Actors Bridge Ensemble's production of The Wolves by Sarah DeLappe. Originally scheduled to open this Friday night at Belmont's Black Box Theatre, the Nashville premiere of the 2017 Pulitzer Prize-nominated play about a girls' indoor soccer team will now run November 30-December 2 and December 6-8 at the Darkhorse Theater, 4610 Charlotte Avenue, according to ABE artistic director Vali Forrister.

– David Huckfelt, the acclaimed leader of The Pines, will release his solo debut, Stranger Angels, on February 22, 2018. Huckfelt wrote the album in solitude as the Artist-In-Residence on Isle Royale, channeling the mysterious and lonesome island's spirits into a stirring thin-place soundtrack. After recently releasing the title track, that features Sylvan Esso's Amelia Meath on vocals, Huckfelt today shares the video for 'You Get Got' - which premiered at PopMatters, who called it, 'a song that seems guaranteed to advance his reputation as one of his generation's finest voices.'
