Producent Stage Entertainment brengt de musicalklassieker in een nieuwe, energieke en eigentijdse versie die vanaf 16 juni 2021 te zien is in het AFAS Circustheater Scheveningen. Hierna zal de voorstelling doorreizen langs de grote theaters in Nederland. De voorstelling kan – mocht dat in juni nodig zijn – coronaproof met een beperkte zaalbezetting spelen.
