Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to announce its next season will go on sale to the public this Sunday, September 23. The season includes: A BRONX TALE, ANASTASIA, CATS and Tony Award-winning COME FROM AWAY, FALSETTOS and A BAND'S VISIT.

Tonight, with the 2018 Emmy® Award win in the Outstanding Variety Special (Live) category for 'Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert,' Andrew Lloyd Webber joins a distinguished list of artists who have achieved EGOT status.

The veteran acting/writing team of William and Sue Wills of Winter Park, FL have just reached two amazing milestones. With their one of a kind 'Presidents and Their First Ladies, dramatically speaking' program, which began in 1996, they just surpassed 5000 performances. From 1978-1997, the couple ran their own theater company in Ocean City, MD and amassed 4,000 performances.

Arthur Kopit/ Maury Yeston's 'PHANTOM' made its New York Premiere here at WBT in 1992. During our record breaking nine- month run, over 120,000 people attended. Night after night, audiences rose to their feet for the stunning musical thriller. The original production was directed by William Pullinsi and starred Robert Cuccioli as the Phantom and Glory Crampton as Christine Daee. 'PHANTOM' returned to our stage in 1996 and 2007 directed and choreographed by Tom Polum, who had been in the original production. William Stutler, Robert Funking, and the entire staff of WBT are very excited that this extraordinary piece, once again directed and choreographed by Tom Polum, will grace our stage.

PizzaExpress Live presents "Live in Central Park [Revisited]: Simon and Garfunkel," a re-creation of the iconic 1981 reunion concert featuring award-winning recording artists Lee Lessack and Johnny Rodgers. Lessack and Rodgers will perform all the masterpieces heard on the night that half a million people gathered in Central Park to witness musical history. The duo re-visits the exact set list, a repertoire of lyrical masterpieces that includes "Mrs. Robinson," " Scarborough Fair," "Bridge Over Troubled Water," "The Sound of Silence," and many more. This is not an impersonation, but an homage by two exciting and perfectly matched performers who've headlined in venues around the world. The shows will be interpreted by Donna Ruane, the West End's most sought after sign language interpreter.

This year, a living legend of musical theatre turns 90: Lyricist-bookwriter Tom Jones (who also, under a stage name) appeared in the original company of his most famous and wildly successful record-breaking musical, The Fantasticks. His collaborator, composer Harvey Schmidt, just recently passed away. The production's record-breaking run closed, on January 13, 2002, after 17,162 performances. Their shows also include 110 in the Shade, I Do! I Do!, Philemon, Celebration and many more. And celebration is what it's about when Broadway veterans Carole Demas, who originated the role of Sandy in Grease, and Sarah Rice, who originated the role of Johanna in Sweeney Todd, return to celebrate Jones & Schmidt. Demas and Rice have based the show on their 50 years of work and personal relationships with Tom and Harvey. With very special guest Broadway's Hal Robinson who is also a Fantasticks alumni.

Since their inception in 1996, the Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards for Excellence in High School Musical Theatre have ignited the careers of many notable performers, all of whom attended high school in New Jersey.  Among the early nominees and winners are Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway (Les Miserables), Tony Award winners Laura Benanti (Gypsy) and Nikki M. Casting is announced for two REPRISE 2.0 productions with two Tony Award leading actress nominees: Laura Bell Bundy (Legally Blonde - Tony Nomination, Hairspray, Anger Management) is to play Charity in Sweet Charity, directed and choreographed by three time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall from June 20 to July 1, and Carmen Cusack (Bright Star - Tony Nomination, Wicked) is to play Victoria Grant in Victor/Victoria directed by Richard Israel and choreographed by John Todd from September 5 to 16 at UCLA's Freud Playhouse.

Utah Symphony | Utah Opera today announced its lineup for the 2018 Deer Valley Music Festival in addition to its plans to celebrate its 15th year of calling Park City, Utah its summer home. Highlights of the six-week, 17-concert music festival, which begins on June 30, 2018 and runs through August 11, 2018, include Utah Symphony performances with Emmy and Tony Award-winning Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth, folk-rock singer-songwriter Amos Lee, 14-time Grammy Award-winner Ricky Skaggs, and Grammy Award-winner Rick Springfield; music of John Williams with scores from some of Hollywood's biggest blockbuster movies; Broadway vocalists and show tunes honoring Andrew Lloyd Webber and Stephen Sondheim musicals; tributes to Swedish pop sensation ABBA, Pink Floyd and the music of the 1970s and '80s; Disney in Concert "A Silly Symphony Celebration" with scenes from some of Disney's earliest colorful cartoons playing on giant screens; and the perennial favorite, "1812 Overture" with live cannon fire on the hillside provided by Cannoneers of the Wasatch.

Broadway at the Hobby Center announced the lineup of shows for its 2018-2019 Season today. Tony Award® winners, premieres, and all-time favorites make up the new season of nine productions, including two season options.

The Actors Fund announced today a one night benefit concert of last year's planned off-Broadway revival of When Pigs Fly, that never actually got to play for an audience. The concert, which will reunite the cast members and creative team for one night only, is set for Monday, April 9th.
