If you ask any theatre kid about the Golden Age of Musical Theatre, the first two people who come to mind are none other than Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II.

The 24th edition of the Istanbul Theatre Festival, organised by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) and sponsored by Koç Holding Energy Group Companies Aygaz, Opet and Tüpraş, will be held between 14 November and 1 December 2020 both on stage and online with a hybrid programme.

The new musical STICKS & STONES premieres on Friday, October 16th at 8:00 p.m. on www.broadwayworld.com and www.broadwaycares.org. It stars Joshua Colley, Mykal Kilgore, Javier Muñoz, George Salazar, Broadway legend Audra McDonald and 135 young performers from around the world.

BroadwayWorld recently caught up with Hoyle by phone from his home in Inverness, California.
