This year marks 15 years since I was in New York and saw my first musical on Broadway, Shrek the Musical, a fantastic family musical. On January 5, 2025, it premieres at the classic Maxim Theater and it is the first musical to be staged there after the renovation of the theater.

Arguably, though, none are in a more beautiful location than that of the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival.
