Factory International has announced the 2023 edition of Manchester International Festival (MIF) from 29 June to 16 July. Working with partners regionally and across the globe, the wide-ranging programme of original new work by an array of international artists will take place in venues and spaces around the city and at Factory International's much-anticipated new home, which opens its doors for the first time for the Festival, in advance of its official opening in October. 

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, the musical inspired by the electrifying true story opens next week and will perform March 21-26, 2023 for a limited 1-week engagement. MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET is part of the 22-23 Fifth Third Bank Broadway Series.

Akedah won the 2019 Bruntwood Prize Original New Voices Award, and is Michael John O’Neill’s first full length play. It’s a tricky show in every sense of the word: the themes are very heavy, with little levity, and the plot is often hard to keep track of, as new details about the characters’ past are gradually added. The result is a very bleak, emotionally fraught production that’s difficult to unpick.

Hadestown, winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best New Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, is headed to Hartford. As part of the 2022-23 Broadway Season, the show will play The Bushnell from March 7-12, 2023. Tickets are on sale now.
