As previously reported, Epic Theatre Company's production of 'James Franco and Me' written by Kevin Broccoli cancelled its New York production, originally slated to go up in August, after the venue at which the play was to be performed received a cease and desist letter from Franco's lawyers. The playwright, Broccoli, began working with his own lawyers to respond to the cease and desist. Their letter, which has been emailed to Franco's attorneys as of today, September 27, can be read in full below. Broccoli and his lawyers are waiting on a response from Franco's legal team.

This October, Music Director Antonio Pappano makes his Carnegie Hall debut conducting the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in two concerts at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage. On Friday, October 20 at 8:00 p.m., the Orchestra performs Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 in C Major, Op. 26 with Martha Argerich who returns to Carnegie Hall for the first time in nine years as well as the Sinfonia from Verdi's Aida and Resphigi's Fountains of Rome and Pines of Rome.
