Way Off Broadway Announces 2019/2020 Season

Following The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's 25th Silver Anniversary during the 2018/2019 Season, producers have unveiled WOB's upcoming 2019/2020 line-up. Known for producing classic musicals, as well as regional and area premieres, Way Off Broadway normally produces five Broadway-style productions each year. With the celebration of the theatre's 25th Anniversary, the company's producers decided to "shake things up a bit" and include a sixth show for the 2019/2020 Season.

FRANKIE AND JOHNNY... Releases $25 Tickets to 25 Previews

On Saturday, May 4 only, the new Broadway production of Terrence McNally's Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune will offer 25 tickets (per performance) for $25 each to the 25 preview performances in honor of Terrence McNally's 25 productions on Broadway.

In 2015, The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre added a new holiday production to its Children's Theatre collection with the world premiere of its original musical comedy The Great Elf Adventure. Over the years, many adaptations of holiday stories have appeared on the WOB stage including Mr. Willowby's Christmas Tree, Frosty the Snowman, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, and Clara and the Nutcracker Prince. The Great Elf Adventure is based on one of the most popular characters to appear at the theatre, Jingles the Elf.
