​​​​​​​Clark Center NYC and The American Dance Guild join forces for the first time to present The Politics of Movement: When Dance Speaks Out, a two-night performance exploring protest, resistance, identity, and social justice.

Elmhurst Ballet School in Birmingham will open its doors to welcome aspiring dancers to its annual Open Day, offering them, along with their parents and guardians, the opportunity to experience Elmhurst in action on a typical school day.

At Teatro VillaLobos, the Broadway classic takes on a new life under the direction and choreography of Bárbara Guerra, who updates the visuals with large screens and real-time projections without losing the soul of the original, with a fine-tuned cast that delivers moving performances in numbers like 'At the Ballet' and 'What I Did for Love'. Metalinguistic and vibrant, the production celebrates the dreams, pain, and persistence of those who live to dance.

Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center will host a three-night event series this fall featuring Aphorisms: A Tribute to Ursula Mamlok with New Chamber Ballet and a Momenta Quartet tribute to Stefan Wolpe and John Cage. Presented in conjunction with Points in Space: Performance at Black Mountain College, the programs celebrate the College’s lasting impact on dance and music.

The Joyce Theater Foundation will continue its fall season with the Arpino Dance Festival, a stirring tribute to choreographer Gerald Arpino, whose creative force helped shape the course of American ballet.
