Dance Consortium is delighted to announce Dada Masilo's forthcoming UK tour of Giselle. Following the international success of her acclaimed reinterpretations of Carmen, Romeo and Juliet and Swan Lake, Soweto-born dancer and award-winning, internationally-renowned choreographer, Dada Masilo brings her latest production Giselle to the UK this autumn with London premiere performances at Sadler's Wells on 4 & 5October, and a subsequent tour taking in Nottingham, Bradford, Birmingham, Salford Quays, Milton Keynes, Brighton and concluding in Canterbury on 2 November.

Today's subject Laura Giannarelli has been living her theatre life for many years now on both sides of the footlights. Central Works season of new plays continues this spring with a "cheeky" thriller written by the local award-winning  playwright Patricia Milton, The Victorian Ladies' Detective Collective, opening May 4 running through June 2 (previews 5/2 & 3); world-premiere # 63, from the Central Works Writers Workshop. The production, directed by Gary Graves, is the fifth writer/director comic collaboration between Central Works' resident playwright and its company co-director.  In Victorian London it seems Jack the Ripper may be at it again where sisters Loveday and Valeria run a boarding house for Single Ladies.
