The hit Broadway musical Rock of Ages has teamed up with award-winning cause marketing experts psGive to create a truly unique backstage experience. As part of its efforts to raise funds and awareness for National Breast Cancer Coalition's Breast Cancer Deadline 2020®, fans and supporters can compete for backstage passes to Rock of Ages and a ‘meet and greet' with the cast at New York City's Helen Hayes Theater in an auction-like event running now through June 29th.

If you know the name Constantine Maroulis, it is likely due to his stint on American Idol, but many of our readers may be surprised to know that this AI rocker is actually a classically trained and Tony Award nominated actor, with a number of successful shows on his resume. One of his most successful, Rock of Ages, makes its way to Atlanta at the Fabulous Fox Theatre July 5 - 10. I had the chance to talk with Constantine about the show, his theatrical career and what he learned on Idol that still helps him today.

'Social Network' producer Scott Rudin will reunite with Sorkin for the project, which will be executive produced by both. Filming on the pilot will not begin until later in the year.

Constantine Maroulis, who originated the role of Drew in ROCK OF AGES on Broadway, recently introduced his first child, Malena James to the world via People Magazine. On how he and mom ANgel Reed chose the now three month old's name, he commented: '. 'I always loved the name. I'm not fond of a lot of Greek female names. James is my middle name and my father's name. It just fit.'
