Due to high demand and audiences' continued desire to rock out, ROCK OF AGES, is extending its stay in Toronto once again. A new block of tickets is now on sale through December 19. ROCK OF AGES had its Canadian Premiere on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, almost blowing the roof off the historic Royal Alexandra Theatre.

Jean-Claude van Itallie ('The Tibetan Book of the Dead,' 'The Cherry Orchard,' 'The Serpent,' 'Master and Margarita') is writing 'The Mother's Return' as an addition to his seminal work of modern drama, the trilogy known as 'America Hurrah.' From October 15 to 24, 2010, Theatre Research Ensemble (TReE) will perform 'America Hurrah Revisited & The Mother's Return, a work in progress.' The evening is a re-envisioning of a portion of the famed trilogy together with a first staging of the new addition.

Our menu is American Continental with a Southern flair. We also have a full bar with all premier liquors and domestic and international cold beer, and we serve a full menu at all of our concerts. CAPA today announced its season lineup for 2010-11. Highlights include the return of Columbus' favorite saxophonist extraordinaire, Dave Koz, and the ever-popular, riotous comedy of The Second City. Columbus debuts include acoustic guitarist Benise who brings his lavish stage production, The Spanish Guitar, to the Palace Theatre; DRUMLINE LIVE,a show-style marching band showcase based on the film Drumline; and world-renowned, contemporary ballet company, Complexions.

Lifeline Theatre Artistic Director Dorothy Milne and former Live Bait Theater Artistic Director Sharon Evans announce a joint revival, the 14th Annual Fillet of Solo Festival, running July 29-August 21 at multiple Chicago venues. Performances run Thursday - Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. Tickets are $10 for all performances and may be purchased online at lifelinetheatre.com or by calling the Lifeline Theatre Box Office, 773.761.4477.

Actor Seth Rogen is rumored to be in consideration to play Lonny in the upcoming film version of ROCK OF AGES, Toronto's thestar.com reports. Rogen attended the Toronto production of ROCK OF AGES on July 17, telling people that 'he was just there to enjoy the show.' Accorinf to the report, however, Rogan may have been taking in the production for more professional reasons. No casting informaiton of any kind for the film has been released to date.
