FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Mark Farrelly in Quentin Crisp: Naked Hope on 29th and 30th January 2019 at 7pm. West End actor Mark Farrelly (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?) brings his hugely-acclaimed solo play Quentin Crisp: Naked Hope to Feinstein's/54 Below direct from a major UK tour for its first ever American performances. Naked Hope magically brings back to life one of the most memorable wits of the twentieth century. Quentin Crisp (1908 - 1999) spent years in London being beaten because of his sexuality, and famously never cleaned his flat because "after the first four years the dust doesn't get any worse." When portrayed by John Hurt in landmark film The Naked Civil Servant, Quentin became a star, moved to America, and was embraced as the original Englishman In New York, immortalized in the hit song by Sting. Naked Hope depicts Quentin's life in London and New York, recreating the legendary An Evening With Quentin Crisp. Expect laughter, pathos, and deep truth in this uplifting salute to the courage of the human spirit to be itself… no matter what they say.

Ronn David McPhatter, the son of two rhythm and blues greats, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Ruth Brown and Clyde McPhatter, will perform his new show "The Son of Legends" at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood on Thursday, Dec. 27 at 8:30 PM.   McPhatter has toured for several years as lead singer of the Drifters, the group that his famous father led back in the 1950's. 

Broadway stars Jared Gertner and Rory O'Malley have joined the previously announced Skylar Astin, Barrett Foa, Carly Hughes, and Tracie Thoms for a one night only concert/staged reading of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown that will benefit PAWS/LA, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit agency serving people and pets in need now celebrating its 30th Anniversary. With book, music, and lyrics by Clark Gesner and directed by Randy Brenner, the musical director is Jake Anthony and Andrew Carlberg serves as producer. 

Prepare for an illuminating journey when The Psychedelic Film and Music Festival holds its inaugural event featuring a lineup of science fiction, horror, fantasy, surrealist and virtual reality films, music and stage performances and panel discussions set to explore the altered states of consciousness and truth behind the vibrant and enduring psychedelic culture. The week-long gathering will feature musical performances by Simon Boswell with The AND, Psychic Ills, Heaven, Michael Tapper, Roosevelt Island and Nosh alongside appearances by researchers Dr. Dennis McKenna, Robert Barnhart and other special guests notable for breakthroughs in the psychedelic community. Premiering at venues in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens, the festival will run October 1-7, 2018.

Actor Patrick Cassidy, best known for his roles in musical theatre and television, headlines Some Enchanted Evening ~ A Night of Broadway Song & Dance to benefit Inland Pacific Ballet, the professional ballet company based in the Inland Empire. This 2nd annual intimate cabaret evening features song and dance by Inland Pacific Ballet dancers and Academy students, cocktails, hor d'oeuvres, dessert, silent/live auction, and is hosted by IPB Associate Director Jonathan Sharp (The Red Shoes, Carousel, The Rocky Horror Show Live, The Dance of the Vampires, Fiddler on the Roof). Some Enchanted Evening takes place on Saturday, September 22 at 6 p.m., at Inland Pacific Ballet located at 9061 Central Avenue, Montclair, 91763.

Michael Feinstein and the Pasadena POPS close out their popular outdoor summer concert series at the Los Angeles County Arboretum on Saturday, September 8 with Broadway Goes to the Movies. The POPS season finale will provide a quintessential Feinstein experience with some of Broadway's greatest performers recreating songs from hit shows that traveled from 42nd St. to Hollywood. "This program is going to celebrate all the different musical aspects of Broadway and Hollywood," says Feinstein, who has put together a program spanning the Broadway canon from My Fair Lady to The Sound of Music to Jersey Boys. Highlights include "The Impossible Dream," "Can't Take My Eyes off of You," and "There's No Business Like Show Business," among many other beloved showtunes.
