Take Two Theatricals and Club 11 London will be presenting the UK premiere of the Broadway version of Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella, in concert at Cadogan Hall on Sunday 20th October at 6.30pm.

Moulin Rouge is getting ready to officially can-can the night away on Broadway and as usual, we can't-can't get enough of star Danny Burstein. We're taking a dive into his career looking back at all the things he's brought to the Broadway stage!

"I had been looking for a reason to come back, and do another show here, so I was pleased when my managers sent me to audition for TREASURE ISLAND [A MUSICAL ADVENTURE]. Doing new work is always great; I love that process where I get to be more involved in the actual creation." Broadway star Aaron Ramey is explaining how he has come to find himself back in Maine to play the plum role of Long John Silver in MSMT's East Coast premiere of Marc Robin and Curt Dale Clark's new epic musical which plays at the Pickard Theater from June 26 - July 13, 2019. Ramey had been an intern in 1997 while he was still a student at Otterbein University. "Ironically," he notes, "that was the summer of renovatios and MSMT performed at Crooker Auditorium, so this production will actually be my first time on the Pickard stage." He recalls the shows from that season: "I was in SWEENEY TODD, CAROUSEL, and TOMMY. I wasn't a good enough dancer to be in THE MUSIC MAN, but I did get to carry the pool table across stage, and in A CHORUS LINE, I played trombone in the pit," he laughs. "And then, too, I knew Michael Nigro [who plays Jim Hawkins] from a workshop we had both been in in New York, and he had urged me to audition."

International Opera Superstar and Tony Award Winner Paulo Szot filled every inch of Feinstein's/54 Below with his glorious once in a lifetime baritone voice last night. Broadway's supper club was also filled to capacity with a passionate audience mesmerized by his cabaret performance which celebrated the music from Paulo's native Brazil. It was a brilliantly constructed show based upon the encounter of Frank Sinatra and Tom Jobim 50 years ago. Paulo went through the Antonio Carlos Jobim songbook with is thrilling voice and also an interesting narrative which analyzed the infectious Brazilian harmonics and rhythms. There were also some tunes from The Great American Songbook, and no romantic is ever the same after hearing Paulo Szot sing Rodgers & Hammerstein's This Nearly Was Mine from South Pacific.

American Theater Group proudly announces the full cast and creative team for its World Premiere production of Tell Them I'm Still Young, a new play by Julia Doolittle, at the South Orange Performing Arts Center January 24 - February 3, 2019. As they grapple with the aftermath, a lover from the past and an ambitious graduate student enter their lives.

The Palm Springs Gay Men's Chorus (PSGMC) and Palm Canyon Theatre (PCT) join theatrical forces on Sunday, September 30 at 7:00 p.m. as they bring an enchanted evening of 'The Best Of Rodgers And Hammerstein' to the desert to benefit both organizations. This cast for includes two-time Emmy® nominated actress and singer Bobbie Eakes along with the vocal talents of desert favorites Theresa Jewett, Charles Herrera, and Keisha D, who will perform numbers written and composed by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein. Members of the Palm Canyon Theatre Company will sing selections from Oklahoma!  the Palm Springs Gay Men's Chorus will present  'There is Nothing Like a Dame' from South Pacific, 'We Kiss in a Shadow' from The King and I and 'Boys and Girls Like You and Me' from State Fair.  The concert will be followed by a reception under the stars.
