The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) has made its initial announcement of the upcoming 34th Annual MAC Awards. The awards presentation and show will take place on Monday, March 30, 2020 at 7:00 pm, at SONY Hall on 46th Street in New York City.

Lyricist and director Richard Maltby, Jr. and composer David Shire will be honored at the 35th annual Bistro Awards where they will be receiving the Bob Harrington Lifetime Achievement Award, the Bistro Award's highest honor, for their more than 50 years of musical accomplishments.

The Coral Springs Center for the Arts is rocking away in February and March with 14 concerts and shows celebrating legendary musicians, comedians, and more. The Country Music Association will honor Conway Entertainment Group/Ontourage Management founder/owner Tony Conway with its 2019 CMA Touring Lifetime Achievement Award. Conway received the news during last week's CMA Board of Directors meeting in Nashville, where he received a standing ovation from Board members and CMA staff.

Ballet Folklórico de Los Ángeles takes center stage at The Soraya, with Eugenia León, La Diva de México, who brings her elegant, powerful vocals. She will be backed by LA's own Mariachi Garibaldi. Nochebuena continues The Soraya's tradition of celebrating the holidays, Mexican-style with two performances on Saturday, December 14 at 3:00pm and 8:00pm.

As Little Steven looks back on his early solo career with the upcoming boxed set, RockNRoll Rebel – The Early Work, the creatively restless Rock & Roll Hall of Famer is simultaneously looking forward with a slew of new releases including a theatrical, Gene Kelly-inspired video for his song “Love Again” from his latest album, Summer Of Sorcery, and an exuberant live performance of Bruce Springsteen's “Tucson Train.” Leading up to the December 6 release of the boxed set, Little Steven aka Steven Van Zandt has been steadily releasing digital deluxe editions of the albums included over the last few weeks and today has made available his 1989 album, Revolution, which includes two rare mixes of the title track.

Curiosity alone might well draw in viewers for this new adaptation, which premiered last year at Bristol Old Vic a?' swiftly followed by awe as they see just how inventively writer David Greig and director Tom Morris have engineered the translation.

For more than half a century, the Grammy award-winning a cappella group, The Swingles, have pushed the boundaries of vocal music. In their new show, “Winter Tales” the group mixes standard repertoire with seasonal specialties, including gorgeous and surprising arrangements of traditional carols, winter-themed originals, and nostalgic classics. Just in time for the holidays, they visit Popejoy Hall for one night only on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at 7:30 pm. 

An innovative immersive production, in which orchestra musicians step on stage to perform with the cast and an in-the-round configuration, highlights Rubicon Theatre Company's evocative, atmospheric production of 'Big River.' With a score by country music's Roger Miller, 'Big River' won 7 Tonys in 1985. The cast features Broadway veterans Josey Montana McCoy, David Aron Damane, and, in a special appearance, Renn Woods as Alice.
