MUSE/IQUE announces its 2024 season: “Make Some Noise: Music and Stories of American Defiance and Hope”; six concerts that celebrate transformative American artists and thinkers who rejected norms and limitations to forge a new and better future. 

The Thalians will host their annual star studded Winter Gala, with proceeds benefitting the charity.  The 2023 gala will honor actor and humanitarian, Gary Sinise, with their highest honor, the Mr. Wonderful Award, for his efforts on behalf of our service men and women through the Gary Sinise Foundation. 

Don Felder, former lead guitarist of The Eagles, performs at Mayo Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, August 9 at 8 pm. Tickets are $39-$69.

The Wick Costume Museum has undergone a dramatic high-tech transformation, resulting in a stunning new venue, rechristened The Museum Club at The Wick. The completely renovated space will feature immersive video experiences, historic costume displays, dining, and entertainment. The Gala Grand Opening is Friday, September 16, and includes an intimate concert by Christine Andreas.

The Barn Theater will present YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN for one week only, August 30 through September 4. Performances are Tuesday through Saturday at 8:00 PM and Sunday at 5:00 PM.

The creative team has been finalized and  tickets are now on sale for the world premiere musical How to Dance in Ohio. The musical is scheduled as the 2022-23 season opener at Syracuse Stage this fall, and will run Sept. 21 – Oct. 9, 2022.

Syracuse Stage has announced casting for the world premiere of How to Dance in Ohio, a new musical inspired by Alexandra Shiva’s Peabody Award-winning documentary of the same name. Victory Gardens Theater has announced the cast for the final show in its 2021/22 Mainstage Season, the regional premiere of cullud wattah, written by Erika Dickerson-Despenza and directed by Lili-Anne Brown. cullud wattah runs June 11 – July 17, 2022 at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Bill Kenwright's legendary production of the international smash hit musical Blood Brothers returns to the stage. The much-loved musical, which performed to sell-out houses and standing ovations on its most recent UK tour in 2019-2020, returns with gusto to Birmingham Hippodrome this November.

In celebration of the musicals' relaunch, Lyn Paul returns for her farewell tour in the iconic role of Mrs Johnstone, which she first made her own in London's West End. 

'I haven't sung in three years!' said Liza Minnelli to an adoring crowd at Feinstein's at Vitello's. The living legend stopped by the famed LA supperclub last week, where she performed on stage with Michael Feinstein himself. Watch below as she sings the Gershwin classic- 'Embraceable You.'

The film will reportedly begin following the death of Minnelli's mother, Judy Garland. It will then follow Minnelli on her rise to fame, beginning in the 1970s, and chronicling her various accolades, including an Oscar for best actress (Cabaret), an Emmy for best TV special (Liza with a Z), and a Tony for best actress in a musical (The Act).
